The UI/Frontend Application Architect will perform the following main tasks:

Requirement Elicitation & UI Design: Interviewing end-users to elicit requirements and find "pain points" and defining the user interface needed to solve them.

Front-end Implementation: Writing the production-level Angular code for all user-facing features.

API Specification & Design: in collaboration with the other members of the project team, write the OpenAPI (Swagger) contract of the REST services API required by the front-end.

In addition of the above primary tasks, the UI/Frontend Application Architect will perform the following tasks:

Adaptations and re-factoring of existing User Interface components, written in eUI/Angular.js.

Analysis of production issues and elaboration of specific solutions (bug fixing).

Analysis of change requests impacting the user experience of the used applications.

Provision of studies, assessments, technical guidance, and evaluations.

Assistance in testing, quality evaluation, and reporting.

Quality assurance of new modules/developments.

B2 level of English minimum. Any knowledge of French is an asset.

Experience with Computer Assisted Translations systems such as Trados Studio, Trados GroupShare, etc. is considered an asset.

Task: Interviewing end-users to elicit requirements and find "pain points" and defining the user interface needed to solve them.

Skills: User research, stakeholder interviewing, persona development, information architecture, wireframing, and low/high-fidelity prototyping.

Knowledge: User-Centered Design (UCD) principles, accessibility standards (WCAG 2.2/3.0), and visual hierarchy.

Tools: No specific tool is required to accomplish this task; however, experience with Figma or Balsamiq is considered an asset.

Task: Writing the production-level Angular code for all user-facing features.

Skills: Proficiency in TypeScript, HTML5, and advanced CSS (Grid, Flexbox, Tailwind CSS).

Knowledge: Modern Angular features (Signals, standalone components, RxJS for state management, and Server-Side Rendering).

Tools: Angular CLI, Visual Studio Code, and browser developer tools for performance profiling.

Task: in collaboration with the other members of the project team, write the OpenAPI (Swagger) contract of the REST services API required by the front-end.

Skills: RESTful API contract design, data modeling, and documentation.

Knowledge: Deep understanding of JSON structures, HTTP methods, status codes, and security (OAuth2, JWT).

Tools: No specific tool is required to accomplish this task; however, experience with :

Swagger/OpenAPI — for writing machine-readable specifications that the back-end team uses to generate the server-side code;

Postman Collections — to define expected responses before the back-end service is built; is considered an asset.
